Make Your Own Shirt!
If you have an old shirt that is just too plain, you can make your own design for it.
You can make anything you can draw.
So, the first thing you need is to draw a picture of whatever you want.
I drew some mountains and a balloon floating off.
Get your mom and dad to buy some special iron-on paper. If you are a teenager or a grownup you can buy it yourself. Print out your picture onto that special paper if you have a printer. If you don't have a printer just draw your picture onto the special paper. Your picture is going to be backwards when you iron it onto the shirt. Make sure you draw it or copy it opposite what you want.
Now cut it out. When you are cutting it out don't cut it exactly on the line but leave a little space around the edges (it helps it stick on the shirt better).
Last, you iron it onto the shirt, picture-side down. Keep the iron moving around and press down hard for about 1-2 minutes.
Let it cool down for a second, and then peel off the paper leaving your picture stuck on the shirt! Your shirt is finished and you can show your amazing art everywhere! When people ask you where you got your shirt from you can say, "I made it!"
Izzy, I am really enjoying your blog. You are very creative. Keep up the good work. [Mrs. Sara]
