Papier-Mâché Turtle

My sister's birthday is one day away, and two more nights to sleep. So, about two days ago I decided to make her a papier-mâché turtle (turns out the word papier-mâché is actually french). Anyways, papier-mâché usually takes at least two days to make. So, here is how to make it:
You need: a balloon, some water, some flour, paint, strips of newspaper (I just used regular paper because I don't have any newspaper), and last but not least, turtle cut outs (the head, legs, and tail).
First, you add the flour (the amount of flour you need depends on the size of your balloon).
Then, just keep on adding water until it's a pancake batter consistency.
After you've mixed the glue together paint it on to the balloon...
Then, add the paper, and be sure that you cover the who balloon with paper, also cover all the paper in a protective coat of glue.
This is what it should look like when it's done.
After that, just let it sit in a bowl and dry for 1-3 days. But if you still notice bits of wetness on it then let it sit a bit longer. (Note: the more glue you add to it the longer it takes to dry.) But, this is how mine turned out to look like once it dried, it only took one night, only because I used a smaller balloon.
Next, take a needle and poke through the ball and pop the balloon.
After the balloon is popped on the inside, paint it green.
Once you are done painting, you should let it dry for an hour or two.
Once it's dry, go ahead and tape the head, legs, and tail on.

And finally draw on the face. Hopefully you liked this post, have a nice day! Also, stay safe from the coronavirus, and wash your hands!
