Berry Delicious Smoothie Bowl

Because it is spring break, and summer is coming very soon (this past year has gone by quick), I thought it would be a good idea to share with you how to make this refreshing smoothie bowl. You can use this for breakfast, lunch, or just a snack. Whatever you use it for though, it will be very filling. Also, (spoiler alert) if you didn’t know already I’m making a Spectacular Izzy Fun cookbook, and this recipe is going to be in it! The cookbook probably won’t be ready for another year or so, but I just thought I would give you a little spoiler alert. Anyways, let me show you how to make this really yummy smoothie bowl:

You need:

1 frozen Banana

1/4 cup yogurt (plain or vanilla [you can also use dairy free or vegan- plant based- yogurt if you want])

1 cup of strawberries

1/3 cup of frozen raspberries

6 ice cubes

And 1/2 cup of milk

Add all of your ingredients into a blender

After you feel like all your ingredients have blended together well enough, then the mixture should look something like this.

When you are satisfied with the consistency of your smoothie, go ahead and pour it into a bowl. It shouldn’t be too runny, but I definitely shouldn’t be the consistency of ice cream. I didn’t leave my banana in the freezer long enough, so mine didn’t turn out as thick as it should be. Either way it will still pretty much taste the same way, but usually smoothie bowls have the consistency of yogurt. If you feel like the consistency of your yogurt is too runny, then feel free to refrigerate it for a little bit.

You can add a garnish of raspberries of flaxseed for an extra flare if you want, other then that, you finally get to sit down and enjoy your smoothie bowl! Hopefully you enjoyed this post, stay safe, and have a great rest of your spring break!
